Steven Tapper, Tapper’s Diamonds & Fine Jewelry
Steven Tapper, a partner and vice president of the West Bloomfield-based Tapper’s Diamonds & Fine Jewelry. Prior to joining the company in 1977, Steven studied at The Center for Creative Studies and Eastern Michigan University. Certified K-12 all subjects in Michigan as a teacher. Steven has taught fine arts, design and photography. He also continues to pursue his passion for fine art, in fine jewelry custom design, photography, and sculpture. He has also participated in numerous showings of his work at local art galleries.
In April 2011 Steven received an honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University, where he presented the undergraduate commencement address. Steven is involved in many aspects of the daily operations of Tappers Diamonds and Fine Jewelry. The main focus being custom jewelry design, sales, merchandising, and marketing on a daily basis.
Steven currently resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife, who is also an artist, and they are the proud parents of three young adult children.
